Handcrafted in Guatemala by fair trade artisans, the Ayudante Half Apron will be an excellent kitchen assistant. This half apron is crafted from a traditional woven Guatemalan skirt known as corte; the fabric has been repurposed as an apron to prolong the life of this intricate textile. Weaving is an important part of indigenous Guatemalan culture, spanning back generations and thousands of years. Often done on a backstrap or standing loom, this form of hand weaving is time‒consuming and requires great skill. The Ayudante Half Apron boasts two slip pockets on the center, front of the apron for easy access to your most used tools as you buzz around the kitchen. Made of 100% cotton.
